Began as a pro-democracy movement in the Old PRNSE under Fox (now the USSR 2002 Simulation), as well as the micronations of the Democratic Republic of the Skerry Isles and Commonwealth of Norad. After the FCs left/were exiled from the PRNSE (on the first Exodus Day), they merged with Norad and the DRSI to form the Free Republic.
Zhukov was once our leader; he was the first one of us to be banned from the PRNSE (without a trial, despite numerous protests), and served as not only a figurehead, but also as one of the top FR leaders during the Silent Revolution that preceeded the first Exodus Day.
As he was a high-ranking member of the pro-FC IRQM (Now the Attera-Macusiaa and Argaal Provinces), as well as a good website designer, Zhukov undoubtedly help form the nascant FR. However, his pro-democracy stance faded, replaced by something akin to the dictatorship of the Costume Communists of the PRNSE, which helped form the FR.
First it was the creation of the Terra Zhukovia province, then the subtle manipulation of the first (and to date, only) elections, in which he virtualy nullified the Free Citizens Party. Then, during his Consulship, he not only helped create his own puppet-war with members of the HoA and IRQM, in which Rulzcentia was divided up into North (FR) and South (HoA), but also manipulated Senate votes.
Once Zhukov
left micronations, his last act was the deletion of the original
FR-PRP forum. Since it was clear he was nothing more than a type
of Hitler-esque dictator, the new FR Province has carried on the
removal of his legacy, including the renaming of the Terra Zhukovia
Province into Red Island, as if in revenge for the fallen forum.
