They are captured by orcs on their way to Gundabad and are part of events that unfold involving Avari elves from the distant east and their dragons, a wizard and Noldoran Elves from the west who come with a prophesy from the Valar, the discovery of the Palantiri, the finding of the entwives and origin of hobbits. It becomes not just a Quest to seek Queen Arwen but the future Queen of Arnor and Gondor, the wife of Eldarion, a union that unites all the Elven Kindreds and sundered lines of Kings and culminates in events that will seek to prevent the release of Morgoth himself.
