Linkin Park's Webster Hall Konzert wird auf Premiere am 22. Juni gezeigt werden. Genaueres ist noch nicht bekannt.

i'm sure all of you have been seeing the reports of the record sales and chart positions, etc. lots of "number ones" out there...i just wanted to balance that out with a "thanks" for all your support.

we worked really hard on the songs; each one is a complete idea, but at the same time, it's only part of the experience. the part that finishes it is when someone listens to it, thinks about it, and connects with it---bringing their own experience to it, and attaching a personal meaning to the songs. all of us in the band are really grateful for the fans who support the band and make the connection. because of that connection, our success is your success!

just wanted to relay a couple great things about the special edition versions of the album.

first, the in-store special edition...i think the retail price was like $27 US or something like that, but MOST places are selling it for around $18 right now, which is amazing. i even heard of people buying it at places like target and best buy for around $16. if you haven't heard--the DVD it comes with has a 45 minute film about the making of, the W.I.D. video, the W.I.D. making of, plus a bunch of other stuff. it's pretty much the most amount of stuff we could get away with packing onto a special edition, and it's a remarkable deal at less than $20 US.

second, i just got the first copy of the internet-only book (around $100 US). i can't believe how good it came out. kudos to our art director, frank, and all the artists invovled. that thing is a monster...i hope you all like it. the prints came out great, too--i think they'd look good matted and framed together...

anyway, just wanted to put that stuff out there, for those who are looking to pick that stuff up.

Okay nicht ganz. Aber es ist best�tigt, dass sie das "Live Earth Tokyo", eines von sieben Live Earth Benefiz Konzerten auf jedem Kontinent. Mike sagt: Klimaprobleme kann etwas bezeichnendes unserer Generation sein, wir sind stolz diese Show zu spielen um diese Bem�hungen zu unterst�tzen. Das Event wird am 7. Juli 2007 stattfinden.

Andere K�nstler die auch mitmachen: Lenny Kravitz, Snoop Dogg, Madonna, Bon Jovi, The Police, Sheryl Crow, Kelly Clarkson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, Melissa Etheridge, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, John Mayer, Faith Hill, Black Eyed Peas, Foo Fighters und Fall Out Boy, etc.

LPTV Episode 14 ist nun ebenfalls online!

Chester hat abermals die News rausgegeben, dass die 12. Geburtstagsparty von Club Tattoo am 23. Juni im Clubhaus in Tempe, Arizona stattfinden wird. Sevendust, Buckcherry, Operator, Hed P.E. und andere K�nstler, unter anderem Chester's "Fun-Band" Bucket of Weenies werden auftreten.

Eine Woche nach seinem internationalen Release ist das Album nun schon auf Platz eins in England, Amerika, Deutschland, Frankreich, Schweiz, Norwegen, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexiko, S�dafrika, Philippinen, Italien, Schweden, �sterreich und Irland.
Platinum erreichte es bereits in Austalien, Kanada, Indonesien, Neuseeland, Japan, Singapur, �sterreich, Schweiz und Frankreich.
In Tschechien, Frankreich, Deutschland, Irland, Italien, Korea, Malaysia, Portugal, Singapur, Taiwan, England und Thailand hat es bereits Gold erreicht.
Brad gab dazu einen Kommentar ab: (grob �bersetzt)"wir sind schockiert �ber diesen aussergew�hnlichen Support. Wir haben unsere ganze Kreativit�t in dieses Album investiert, mit der Hoffnung, dass diese Musik den Fans ebenso gut gefallen wird wie uns. Wir k�nnten nicht mehr aufgeregt sein �ber diese Neuigkeiten."

Das Verkaufsdatum f�r die San Bernadino-Show ist vom 28. Juli zum 16. Juni verschoben worden. Das Datum f�r den LPU-Vorverkauf wird noch bekannt gegeben.

Auf mtv.de kann man nun Tickets f�r das Konzert in Hamburg am 27.05.2007 gewinnen. Also, nehmt die Chance wahr falls ihr noch keine Tickets habt und mit ein bisschen Gl�ck seid ihr doch dabei!
Ausserdem steht da, dass die Performance bei RAR am 01.06.2007 live auf MTV �bertragen wird. Noch ist nicht klar, um welche Uhrzeit genau.

Brad hat auf LP's My Space eine Dankesnachricht online gestellt. Darin sagt er, dass die ganze Fanbase ihnen so viel Selbstbewusstsein solche Risiken auf sich zu nehmen und sich selbst herauszufordern. MtM war ein grosses Risiko f�r sie indem sie wieder von vorne begannen, also experimentieren, Fantasien/Vorstellungen und Spass. Er dankt f�r den Support und hofft uns gef�llt das Album so gut wie ihnen.

I can only hope to convey the gratitude we feel. The dedication of our entire fanbase has given us the confidence to take risks and continually challenge ourselves as musicians throughout our career.

Minutes to Midnight was just that: a huge risk. In making this album, we strived as a band to rediscover the reasons for starting up in the first place: experimentation, imagination, and fun. We went on an incredible journey and wound up in an incredibly exciting place.
