i call for the days of the unadulterated when the artistry was cultivated you know, back when rap was smart and multi-layered we can rap without A&Rs and ultimatums now today, i say the phrase, "I LONG FOR THE GOOD OLE DAYS!" when the party was all about partyin i was a mini-party starter then my mind bends when i call my pen the big question... should i run to mine a victual? food for though or dumb the rhyme a little? AMEN WILL SMITH!! I HATE rap these days. Everything you hear is about hustling or girls and its SAD! There are no more poets. We aren't interested in poetry anymore. As long as your words rhyme and the beat behind them is hot and your lyrics are about something young kids think is cool, you have a hit. No one says anything important anymore. No one says anything in an interesting way anymore. I HATE 50 CENT!! |
