Documentation of the Development Process

The purpose of this website is to inform Gee Tech's potential and current residential and business customers in the Toledo Metropolitan Area about all of the services we can offer them in addition to our 24/7 dedication to always provide them with safe, affordable, quality computer repair and more.

This website is still in the early development stage. It has been completed to a certain point to show that this site meets proficient criteria, demonstrates advanced skills in developing its elements and shows proficiency in the application of website development languages. Even though it isn't completely developed yet, it has the necessary pertinent information our customers need pertaining to Gee Techs. The final website development that Gee Techs envisions for our customers is coming very soon.

Defense of the Final Product

Every page has been designed with consistency in syntax and style throughout. The general approach originally planned for the website's page design was a simple three box approach which would've included a main box with two lower boxes below it in the body of the pages. After careful consideration, a more simple two box approach was chosen to seperate the logo area from the content area which will allow more room to add additional content as the website is expanded to the final stage that's envisioned for our customers. Along the top of each template page on the right hand side of the upper website area, buttons have been placed for navigation in addition to Gee Tech's contact number with ample space to play around with if Gee Tech decides to change the button design or expand the text. In short, the choices for the website were made to keep the website from being cluttered and make it easier and quicker for the visitors to navigate.

A simple two color, white and light gray background palette as well as a simple three color, orange, white and black text choice was made for the website while using typography in the Georgia and Arial font family. The color and typography choices were chosen by Gee Tech to accentuate and highlight the website in addition to making the site look more appealing, more professional and clutter free.

Opportunities for Improvement and Growth

As mentioned earlier, this website is in the early development stage. Therefore, there are still opportunities for improvement and growth. As Gee Techs work towards completion of this site, various sorts of content, capabilities and more will be added. A couple of the additions will be done on the Contact Us page that will allow the customer to arrange consultations, check repair status and more. The FAQs page will allow the customer to find out answers to frequently asked questions in addition to providing them with simple computer education and customer support. The Graphic Design page will not only list and show various samples of design work, but also allow the customers to place online orders. Gee tech is in the process of completing social media pages and will place those links on the website as well. In short, there is so much Gee Techs envisions for it's visitors and potential customers. Therefore, we're hard at work daily to make it happen.
