| One of engines at the
narrow gauge Hythe pier railway. Standing at the pier head station on a
summer evening in 2000. It is a first world war Ex- mustard gas factory
engine from Avonmouth. Originally the company purchased three of these
Brush built 100V battery engines but dismantled one for spares.
It was converted to third rail 200v for use on the pier, it now runs on 240V. |
