EVERY runner should run ONE marathon,
MOST runners can run TWO,
NO runners should run THREE!!!!!
Although no explanation should be necessary.............
You run the first one to prove to yourself that you can do it & you can say 'yes' to the first question you're asked at every cocktail party after you disclose that you're a runner. Truly smart runners (oxymoron) quit HERE.
You run the second one to see what kind of time you can do, since you ran the first one just to finish.
You don't run another one ever again because the human body is not designed to run marathons - it will break.
If you do not heed this advice & run a third and don't break immediately, you will break even worse - just a little later.
When this happens, don't come crying to me.
There are no exceptions to this rule!!!!!!!!
