Donations to TEAM can take the form of money (always appreciated), notebooks, pens, or through volunteer work.
Donate Money
Money is used to purchase textbooks according to each school’s approved curriculum, travel and education expenses for local volunteers in the country itself, and for administrative costs to maintain our organization. We are also exploring specific projects to build latrines for schools that lack such services. Our staff is entirely volunteer and we have no paid employees in either the US or any benefiting country; this helps us to keep our administrative costs to a minimum.
Donate Supplies
Notebooks, pens, and even small solar lamp donations are very welcome. We hold a shipping account that allows us to ship in bulk between Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a shipping hub in Mwanza, Tanzania. Volunteers pick up the bulk shipment and distribute the items to the designated schools. Purchasing supplies in the country is often less expensive, but consider picking up extra notebooks and pens when shopping for school supplies for your own children. You may either send the items to our PO Box, drop them off at any event that we may be holding, or we will be happy to arrange to pick them up from your location or arrange special shipping.

Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to help the organization fulfill its goals when a financial donation is not possible. Even if you donate money or supplies, volunteering can help us spread the word and make our presence known at more events. Use the Contact Us page and someone from the organization will be happy to speak with you about how you can help.
How can I volunteer?

- Pick up donations of supplies and bring them to our collection office
