“The whole world opened to me when I learned to read.”Mary McLeod Bethune

Education is a fundamental right for all people, yet it is often a neglected social service. Developing countries often have an even tougher time with education because they are already working hard to bring other essential services to the people, such as clean water and basic healthcare. While we may face many challenges here in the United States, we have the experience and resources to help those in other countries to achieve a minimum level of education. The Education Assistance Mission (TEAM) is devoted to helping those in developing countries learn about the world around them and, in turn, more about themselves.

Our first major undertaking is to begin education projects in Tanzania, one of the poorest countries in Africa. Through the connection of resources and the donation of books, pens, notebooks, and other materials, we can work together to make an enormous difference in the lives of children. Most importantly, our goal is to further the education of girls, who are often the most underserved members of society.
