Web design is my passion and getting paid to do what I love is just a bonus. I custom design websites, do template modifications, redesigns, asset and code updates, domain and hosting set-up, usability reviews, and SEO. As a Graphic Designer, I can create ads, invitations, flyers, posters, brochures, stationery, and newsletters. In the past, I've worked at Wells Fargo Bank, Hewlett Packard, Intuit, and Sun Microsystems where I performed customer service, administrative and clerical work. It was during this time, I learned the majority of my computer and technical skills which later opened doors to working in print production, information technology, government, healthcare, and education. I'm at my best in a positive environment when my work is making a difference or an impact. I'm creative, hard working, and self-directed, all while maintaining a sense of humor. I'm also a fast learner, detail-oriented, and multi-tasker. My motto is “tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn.” I go the extra mile to get the job done. I have good judgment and the ability to anticipate potential problems or issues in projects. My best asset is the ability to provide excellent customer service to help move projects along successfully. Work-arounds should only be temporary solutions and faster is not always better; therefore, I prefer to take the time to get something right the first time around. Things you may not know: I once tuned-up on my own car from reading a repair book, changed two flat tires in one day, and built three of my own customized computers in my life time. I'm a jack of all trades and I have a "can do" attitude when it comes to learning new things. Things I bring to an office setting: lasagna, salsa moves, knowledge/experience, 80's music, OCD tendencies, post-its, enthusiasm, and loyalty.
