Constitution and By-Laws

Preamble

We the members of the Society Of Young Management Accountant of this institution will serve as a medium of expression of ideals and aspirations and will help promote
the values(justice,honesty,environment friendly,etc)that the school is developing.To protect the interest all members of this organization.to maintain and develop the social
spiritual responsibility to each members-do hereby ordain the Constitutions and By-Laws.



ARTICLE 1-NAME AND OFFICES

Section 1:            This organization shall be named as the Society Of Young Management Accountants,
                           BCC chapter.An affiliated organization of Management Accounting Federations.(MACFED)

Section 11:      The offices of this organization shall be at the campus.

ARTICLE2-OBJECTIVES

Section 1:            To adopt such measures as may be necessary to foster educational advancement
                            in the field of Management Accounting

Section 11:      To serve as a means of gradually exposing students in each year level to actual practice
                        in Management Accounting and in business life.

Section 111 :      To develop civic consciousness and dicipline among members.

Section 1V :      To promote the fellowship and camaderia among members.

Section V :      To upgrade the quality and standards of instructions.

ARTICLE3-MEMBERSHIP

Section 1:      The members of this organization must be bonafide BCC students enrolled in BSC
                              major in Management Accounting.

Section 11:      SYMA members should pay the membership fee every year,and the amount must be agreed
                        by the officers and its members.

ARTICLE4-RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF EACH MEMBERS

Section 1:      Each members has the right to be informed in any project and activities
                        planned by the officers.

Section 11:      The right to vote and to selected in any official position.

Section 111:      Each member must obey and comply the said constitution as
                              promulgated by the organization.

Section 1V:      Has the duty to pay the membership fee and settle his/her accounts before the
                        end of each semester.

Section V:      The to comply with rules and regulations implemented by the school.

Section V1:      The responsibility to cooperate and attend all the activities of the organization.

ARTICLE5-ELECTIONS

Section 1:      Election must be done annually on the first month of the beginning of the school year.

Section 11:      Each year level will elect their set of officers facilitated by their adviser.

Section 111:      The elected year level officers will represent for the election of Executive SYMA officers.

Section 1V:      Election will be done through nominations and votation by the year level officers.

Section V:      The adviser shall count the votes and proclaim the elected officers.

Section V1:      The result of the election shall be final.

ARTICLE6-POSITION OF ELECTED OFFICERS

Section 1:            The SYMA organization shall have the following officers:

a.President

b.Vice-President Internal

c.Vice-President External

d.Secretary

e.Assistant Secretary

f.Treasurer

g.Assistant Treasurer

h.Auditor

i.2 Business Manager

j.2 P.I.O

K.1 Representatives each year

ARTICLE 7-QUALIFICATIONS AND FUNCTIONS OF ELECTED OFFICERS

Section 1:      The President

            a.He/she shall be a senior student and recognized member of SYMA.
            b.Has the duty to supervise and carry out the affairs and activities of the club.
            c.Has the right to preside the meeting of the club.
Section 11:      The Vice-President(Internal)

            a.He/she shall be a senior student and recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she shall perform the duties and functions in the absence of the President.
            c.Has the duty to help in carrying out the affairs.
Section 111:      The Vice-President(External)

            a.He/she shall be a junior student and recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she shall coordinate in all activities and affairs of the club.
            c.He/she shall perform the duties assigned by the President.
Section 1V:      The Secretary

            a.He/she shall be a recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she has the duty to keep the records of the club intact.
            c.He/she shall perform keep the records of minutes.
Section V:      The Assistant Secretary

            a.He/she shall be a recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she has the duty to assist the Secretary .
            c.He/she shall perform the duty of the Secretary,in the absence of the secretary.
Section V1:      The Treasurer

            a.He/she shall be a recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she be the official custodion of the foods and expenditures of the club and.
            has the primary duty to keep the funds.

            c.He/she shall present the liquadation report after every activity.

Section V11:      The Assistant Treasurer

            a.He/she shall be a be a recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she shall assist the treasurer.
            c.He/she shall perform the function of the treasurer,in the
            absence of the treasurer.
Section V111:      The Auditor

            a.He/she shall be a be a recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she has the duty to audit the financial report done by the treasurer to
            inform all the members of the organization about the affairs and
            activities of the club.
Section 1X:      The Public Information Officers

            a.He/she shall be a be a recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she shall be responsible for the press releases and has the duty to inform
            all the members of the organization about the affairs and
            activities of the club.
Section x:      The Business Managers

            a.He/she shall be a be a recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she shall coordinate to the Vice-President External regarding all
            the affairs and activities of the club and provide the things
            needed for every activity.
Section X1:      The Representatives and artist

            a.He/she shall be a be a recognized member of SYMA.
            b.He/she shall help in carrying out the activities of the club .

ARTICLE 8-FUNDS AND EXPENDITURES

Section 1:      All collection shall be remitted to the cashier of the school.

Section 11:      Cash withdrawals shall be approved and signed by the President,
                         Treasurer and Adviser.

Section 111:      Funds of the SYMA must be appropriately allocated and used,
                           in all the expnses incurred by the club.

ARTICLE 9-MEETINGS

Section 1:      The SYMA organization shall have a regular meeting every month
                           at the place.date and time specified by the SYMA President.

Section 11:      The President has the authority to call for a special meeting or
                           emergency meeting whenever it is needed.

Section 111:      Officers and members must attend the meeting called upon by
                           the President.

ARTICLE 10-SACTIONS OR PENALTIES

Section 1:      Members and officers who fail to attend the planned activities
                           of the club for the whole year shall;

                             a.)send a letter to the adviser and president signed by the Daen of
                                  ACCOMSEC and Dean of Student Welfare,and explain why he/she.
                             fails to attend in the said activity.
                           b.)pay an amount of Php.20.00 and any other penalty the adviser
                           may imposed.
