Wild, wild web
Here are some of the websites I have designed. I have been designing websites since two years now, and I hope I am constantly improving.
This website
I made this website in two days in December, 2005. The orange/brown colour scheme has been chosen from a
wallpaper that I had that looked very nice, so I used some colours sampled from that image.
I acknowledge this
tutorial which got me started on using clipping masks for the header.
The BTDS Website
I made this website for the Bengali Drama Soceity of our college. It is implemented
in PHP and uses a MySQL Database. It has features like search, memberlist, events
list, and an administrator module.
ClassNotes Download Center
I made this website for my friends during our 5th semester to help them quickly get to
classnotes that were handed out to us in ppt or pdf format. This was very much used
and appreciated and I am thankful to all those who used it. Features: an ad-rotator
which praised windows over Linux.
Java API Search
I made this website after weeks of frustration trying to search for documentation
in the JavaDocs. To make the database for this site, I had to write a pretty powerful
HTML parsing engine tailormade to extract the required information from the index
files of JavaDoc.
My IE Homepage
I made this website for myself, providing quick access to all the websites and web
features that I use most often. Some of its features are: A google search box for
searching web, images, scholar, etc. A rediffmail login box, so I dont have to go
to the Rediffmail homepage before logging in, and some other quick links.
Azad Hall Library Homepage
I made this website for my hall library. It had a search feature, and lots of links
and pages, and users could also get to know the latest arrivals in the library.
Unfortunately, though, the backend of this website was lost when I accidentally
formatted my hard drive without copying these files off first.
