Freehand Photoshop
In school I was never good at art. Once I was the only student to get a 'D' in drawing class. But software has now empowered me to make stunning designs in a very professional way.
My tools of choice are Photoshop CS2 and Macromedia Freehand MX. I am eager when the merger of Adobe and Macromedia reflects in a superior interoperability among the two.
Fine, here is a glimpse at what I have done:
Pix
VS Express Wallpapers
After
a lot of frustrated attempts at finding nice Visual Studio wallpapers for my desktop
on the internet, I decided to make my own. A hurdle was that the logos were (obviously)
not available to me in Photoshop format. So I found that the VS Express website
had great graphics in place, so I went
there, and ripped it apart. You can get them
here.
BTDS Poster for a play
When
Load-da approached me for making a poster for the freshers' production of BTDS,
Rajdarshan, I was a little scared, since I had never designed posters before. But with the guidance
of Load-da and the great tips and tricks from Amitava-da (he is great with Photoshop,
and that was an understatement), it was a breeze.
My Avatar for C9
I made this 120px avatar for the great forums of
Channel 9. The green hash signifies that I like C# programming.
Icons:
Assisty
This
one is for a personal diary application that I was writing.
Snake
This
one is for the snake game I wrote in C# (.NET 2.0). It actually was very much liked.
You can get it here.
MuziWiz
This icon was made for a grand project we did for our Soft Computing Tools in Engineering
Course. There were four other people in my group. You can find the project details
on the CSharp page.
