Tamils today are carrying a disease that will kill their identity as a distinct nation with distinct culture, language, literature and with thousands and thousands years of history. Many Tamils don’t realise that their language is one of the six oldest languages in the world and is proven to be rich in grammar and literature. Not to mention some even make joke of it, thinking it's a funny language. Those don't even have basic knowledge in Tamil. Would you make a joke of your mother? We are not asking any one not to learn other languages, but not to forget your own language that is proven to be rich grammar and literature.

Do learn other languages, but DON'T forget your own mother toungue.
