Super Mario Bros. 2 is the english sequel to Super Mario Bros.

Nintendo thought the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 would be to difficult, so they redeveloped the game Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic into the sequel.


The game became a comercial success everywhere in the world.

This is the third game in the series, in North America.

Before its release it was featured in the film The Wizard as advertising in the game.

The game was a huge commercial success.

So much so that it got its own TV show.

As a launch title for the Super Nintendo, this game sold extremely well.

Due to the sales, this game had a cartoon spinoff made
