We consider the Mares in our breeding program to be every bit as important as the Stallions to which they are bred. Consideration is given to temperament, height, conformation, bloodlines and the overall appearance when selecting our mares as it may very well be the mare, not the stallion, in many cases that determines the height and conformation of the foal. We are presently using five Stallions in our breeding program so we can be very selective in choosing what we feel will produce offspring to enhance the Miniature Horse Breed. Our mares are AMHA registered.

Candi is a new addition to our Sunrise family. She is a very pretty little palomino pinto mare measuring 30". She and Rocky produced a very nice petite red and white pinto in 2007. This was Candi's first foal and she is proving to be a fine broodmare. She is bred to Prime Time for 2010. |
