The 2015 - 2016 school year is here! Our staff and students are already working hard!
Our theme for this year is Teamwork and Community! We introduced this theme through our Pride Days with our students. It is also the theme for our professional time on Fridays with the staff. We will also carry this theme through out Pam Harmon Arts Festival on May 26th. We are looking for presenters.
Our class officers make up our Student Voice Group! They contribute to all the school pride and other activities in the school. This year we have added a Student Voice Blog on this Website which is anonymous.
Our Parent Group, Sumner Parent Partnership works on these same ideals. Sumner Parent Partnership meets on the first Wednesday of the month. All parents are welcome. This is an opportunity to get involved in the school. Parents can ask questions, share thoughts, or just talk about happenings in school.
Our hope is that this website will be a great resource for communication for parents and community. Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns. Two way communication is critical to making our team a great one for our students!
