Pam Harmon Arts & Achievement Day
The day will and can encompass all aspects of the arts: visual, performance, written, industrial, culinary, agricultural, and more. Some examples of sessions already planned to be offered include: jewelry making, lampwork glass, introduction to using draft horses, basket making, dance, TV screen writing, steel drums, wet felting, and much more!
What is GEAR UP? Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs
Syntiro of Maine is collaborating with the University of Maine at Farmington and other partners to enhance and support a college-going culture in Maine through a federal grant called GEAR UP Maine.
The RSU 24 GU Mission:
�It is our mission to raise academic proficiencies, provide support for remediation, open students� eyes to experiences beyond middle and high school, and engage them in a culture of increased creativity and innovation. Through leadership development and exposure to technology, the GEAR UP team believes that RSU 24 GU students will have a strong foundation of 21st century thinking skills, and be more prepared for a lifetime of success.�
