Students at Churchill Academy are put into one of four houses. The Houses are Windsor (Blue), Hanover (Gold), Tudor (Red) and Stuart (Green). Each House has a Head of House: Windsor, Mr S Cross; Hanover, Mrs E Bradley; Tudor, Mrs A Blackburn and Stuart, Mr G Davies. There are 14 vertical tutor groups in each house and each tutor group has a tutor. Each house also has a House Mentor: Windsor, Mrs J Steele; Hanover, Ms S Wratten; Tudor, (vacancy) and Stuart, Miss L Harris. Families go into the same house, however, siblings are never put into the same tutor group. This allows the Head of House to build up a good relationship with a family, often over a long period of time.
