Non-Album Tracks Project? As collectors will agree, getting hold of all of Macca's singles, b-sides, collaborations, demos and other unreleased material is a tough task. What makes it even harder is the lack of a single source or list to go by. Here's a humble attempt to compile a list of ALL the non-album tracks. The List — 1970 to 2004, but with lots missing. Will be updated as I get more information. How can you help? By going through the list and suggesting corrections and additions. Mail me at [email protected] Some rules to follow: # Include unreleased demos, collaborations with other artistes, songs only included in special compilations, original or rare cover songs only performed live (like the Lennon tribute medley), but try to keep out the remixes, unless they're really special... # Try to put in as much info about the songs as you can to help cross-checking. Year, length, best-known source, live or studio... anything! What happens after the list is compiled? STEP 1 is to create the list along with the best known source for the songs (may be bootlegs, compilations or reissues). STEP 2 is to create a repository of some of the hard-to-get tracks that can be shared by everyone interested (maybe a Gmail or Streamload account that I'd be happy to manage).
