- The group will meet once or twice a month. Open to all teenagers, ages 13-18.
- At the meetings, teens are welcome to share their latest (or oldest!) bodies of work. It can be for open, constructive criticism or just to hear the words aloud.
- Various writing exercises will be explored, ones that can be done with the group and ones to be taken home to help perfect each teen's individual style.
- Writing workshops will be held with professional writers invited by The Theater Project to help teach some basic aspects of writing for the theater, even to give tips for succeeding in the professional world.
- Student showcases will be held to allow for parents, friends and the community to come and see the students' works-in-progress, as well as to allow the students to see their work performed on stage.
