In Memory of:

Ch
Oakcroft Good Omen
23.03.98 ~ 23.04.03
(Ch Vance Of
Bullmanor X Ch Oakcroft Quiet Tantrum)
Salem was a wonderful boy who
was outstanding in nature and in the show ring. He was
very much like his Dad, but a bit more cheeky! He was
a very loving boy, but very protective of his family
and home. He never failed to let his presence be known or
felt and would talk to
everyone. When we used
to arrive at the shows and walk to the ring everyone
would turn around and say "Salem's
here, Hi Salem", as
he would be talking away to
everyone with his tail wagging, prancing like a show pony
with his head held high, everyone knew "we had
arrived!". He liked to show himself off and
wanted everyone to
see! Salem
was and still is the Top Winning Bullmastiff ever in New
Zealand to date.
His show career was outstanding, and like his Dad,
Salem and I were a
team and he loved to please me. He did more than please me,
he made Daron and I so proud of this wonderful boy who is
sorely missed.
Here are some of Salem's accomplishments. There is too
many to list them all individually...

Here is a lovely tribute that my friend, Heather, from Nascade
Bullmastiff's,
wrote for Salem. I think it says it in a nut shell what a gorgeous
boy he was....
A Tribute To Salem:
You brought with you a unique style,
a personality no one could forget with your tail wagging and head held
high. A proud dog full of charisma and presence - you could never go
unnoticed. You put the Bullmastiff breed on the map and made people
take notice. There has never been another dog who has gone out and
done what you have and you have made a place in breed history as one
of the greats. To others, you will always be remembered and never
forgotten whether you were a rival or a true friend ~ no one could
miss you , you were in a class of your own.
Rest In Peace ~ God Bless.
