Agra, in the state of Utter Pradesh, is the city of the Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beautiful wife, Mumtaz Mahal. She died while giving birth to her forteenth child. Shah Jahan was so shocked by her death that his hair turned grey overnight!
