Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays an important role in our world today, and even in the past.
And it played as a crucial role in EDSA (People Power Revolution) the mobile phone served as the symbol of People
Power II Evolution in the Philippines. And it also served as the reason of People Power II's success. But even if
it played as a crucial role at that time, people haven't drawn a lot of attention to it. People Power II was arguably
the world’s first EDSA-Revolution’s change of government, brought by new form of ICTs (Information and Communications Technology).

A Facebook event entitled “MILLION PEOPLE MARCH TO LUNETA AUGUST 26: SA ARAW NG MGA BAYANI. PROTESTA ng BAYAN!!!”
was created by Arnold Pedrigal and Bernardo Bernardo using the Power ng Pinoy Facebook page to invite participants
to the protests. It stemmed from Ito Rapadas’ original Facebook status post of protesting the pork barrel fund mess
with a Million People March.
A Facebook page/post helps us to connect with one another. We can get some informations and what is the current happenings
in a certain place. And that’s one of the positive effect of ICT in our lives. Even if we are in different places, we can
still be updated and can still relate with one another. We can also encourage everyone to join in our actions for the sake
of everyone and for the progress of our country.
Through ICT, we can easily relate, share, encourage, and enlighten the minds of each and everyone of us to be united for the
improvement and progress of our beloved country.

ICT can help to make the work or business easier to do and to spread all over the world. Through ICT, the transaction of relief
goods makes faster to deliver or distribute to all places who suffering from disaster.
