People’s Democratic Republic of Kemp Land ICIS
- First issues were stamps of Australian Antarctic Territory handstamp overprinted "Kemp Land".
"On the frigid continent of Antarctica lies an astonishing land: thousands
of people living and working in what many claim is the world’s most
daring social experiment ... which proclaimed independence from Australia on 2nd October 1975. Kemp Land
is a benevolent but low-tech dictatorship, led by the Democratic People’s
Party, and the Great Leader Eric Gardo. The capital is Bonjo Town."
