UNITED STATES ALBUM PAGES

Here are free album pages for you to download, print out and populate. I've tried to make this album page system as versatile as possible. Thus, you'll find alternative pages in many cases. You can mix and match to get exactly the album you want. Please see the instructions on the first page of each file. I'm also continually adding pages, so please check back often.

PLEASE NOTE: Entire contents copyright © 2006-2007 by Thomas Kendall. All rights reserved. You may download and print out  these Adobe Reader files for your personal use. You may not alter these pages nor sell them without specific written permission.

UNITED STATES 19th CENTURY BASIC PAGES — These provide spaces for every face-different postage stamp 1847-1898. I've taken care to isolate each issue on its own page. Thus, you can start with these, then insert pages for more specialized treatment of individual issues.

MOST TYPES AND COLORS — This set of album pages provides replacements for pages in the basic 19th Century file. It includes spaces for fairly readily available stamps only. Most of the time, if a shade or type catalogs more than $1,000.00, I've excluded it from this set of pages. If you want pages for each and every stamp, including the earth-shattering rarities, please see the individual issue pages below.

REPRODUCTIONS, REPRINTS AND SPECIAL PRINTINGS — This set of album pages gives you spaces for every reproduction, reprint and special printing stamp produced by the United States during the 19th Century, including the Departmental "Specimen" overprints, but excluding newspapers and periodicals.

1847 ISSUE — These give you spaces for every significant shade, double transfer and plate variety listed for the 1847 issue.

1851 ONE CENT — This set of album pages provides spaces for all types, transfer roll reliefs, and many interesting varieties of the 1851-1861 1¢ issue, imperforate and perforated.

1855 TEN CENTS — Here are spaces for all types, transfer roll reliefs, and many interesting varieties of the 1855-1861 10¢ issue, imperforate and perforated.

1861-1868 ISSUES — These pages give you spaces for all significant varieties and shades for the ungilled issues of 1861-1866 and the grilled issues of 1867-1868.

1861 ONE CENT — This set of pages provides spaces for colors, plate varieties, production varieties and grills of the 1¢ blue Franklin of 1861-1868.

1863 TWO CENTS — Here are 10 pages for the popular 2¢ Blackjack issue, covering dies, shades, plate and other varieties, and the grills. (and his article about its dies)

1861 THREE CENTS — These pages cover the 3¢ rose Washington issue, including colors, plate and other varieties, and the grills.
