Section 18.1 Sources

Linn's posts a table of exchange rates every (?) week, based on the US$.

Most nation-wide newspaper have a table of the more common currencies in their ``Economy'' or ``Business'' sections.

Their are some online sources, such as the United Nations Gopher <gopher.unpd.gov> and the WWW server in Israel <vms.huji.ac.il>.

The gopher page gopher://israel-info.gov.il/1m/new/brief1 also carries the current exchange rate for the Israeli shekel.

The 'CIA World Fact Book' (published as etext by the Gutenberg project) has the exchange rates for approx. 250 countries for the past few years. The book contains lots more info about the world's countries. It's available online through the WWW.
