 Subspace History

Everything you wanted to know about Subspace, but were too afraid to ask. A brief history of the game, one of the first multiplayer games ever seen on the net. Starting with the early days when it was still owned and run by VIE, up to today where it is a complete player run game with a brand new client called Continuum.

Now you know about the game, you need to learn to play it. The link above will take you to the SubspaceHQ playing guide. This is an excellent way to learn the basics of SVS game play. Once you have learned to play SVS zones then other settings will come more easier to you.

Once you've played the game for a while and moved on from the basics you might want to join a squad and play in the Premier League. This is an excellent guide written by long time ss vet Tritoch. This will teach you all the skills you need to know to be a successful league pilot.

Although DZ doesn't now and won't in the future play WZL we have a lot of players (including myself) who play warzone and for WZL squads. This guide is written by a former WZ vet and sysop and is an excellent introduction into the offensive and defensive tactics of CTF play. Also a lot of the stuff in here can be applied to any SVS zone, including Premier League.

Whatever league or zone you're playing you always need good dueling skills. This guide, written by a legendary dueler from the early days of SubSpace, is packed full of hints, tips and techniques to give you the edge over your opponent.
