      1. There is a VLSI Design And Test workshop ( VDAT 2001 ) scheduled for this August 16 to 18 2001 at Indian Institute of Science ( IISC ) Bangalore. If you are in India by then may be it is worth attending. I myself am planing to attend this for the first time (till now I have been away from India during these workshops/conferences).

      2. More interestingly the next Asia Pacific DAC ( http://www.aspdac.com/ ) is planned to be organized in conjunction with the famous VLSI Design Conference, in January 2002! That would be a great moment for us - VLSI people in India. See http://vlsi.ccrl.nj.nec.com/~chak/vlsi2002/index.html for details. Also you are more than welcome to register as a REVIEWER for the papers in this Joint conference. So if you think you are interested seriously in some of the VLSI areas and feel that you have enough time please register TODAY by using the "NEW USER? You MUST Register as a New User" section of the above mentioned page.

      3. I have just got a free domain name from NameZero and is http://www.vlsisrini.com .

Well as of today it comes back to this same page :-) I plan to add more useful (atleast what I find/think useful) stuff on VLSI.
    2. Meanwhile if you want to get involved rightaway in VLSI use the "usenet"/news groups via say http://groups.google.com . My personal favourite groups are VHDL & Verilog.
Click here for VHDL news group.
Click here for Verilog news group.

      Let's meet there for now.
      Stay tuned for more..

I have just finished a page on VLSI Training Institutes in India . Check it out! .

Also I am in the process of listing a few companies offering talented young Post graduates in VLSI area, opportunities to execute their Master's thesis/project work at the industry. It is in beta phase, check it out!
