 (Late) Sri.V.Harihara Subramony (alias, Nagarajan) passed away on 10th of May, 2002. He was suffering from diabetics and liver problems. He was a Commerce Graduate having knowledge in many other areas too. He had answer for any question you asked. He started his career at the age of 20 by working as a cashier in TVS. Then he moved on to Powerica Ltd. Chennai, working as Sales Promotion Manager and Marketing Manager there. (Powerica Ltd. is a company manufacturing diesel generators using imported engines and assessories.) After that he worked as Branch Manager at their Cochin office. He was then promoted as Branch Sales Manager in their Zonal Office in Nungambakkam, Chennai. He suffered two heart attacks by that period. He resigned the job because of poor health conditions and returned to Trivandrum. He started his own enterprise called Abtrip Associates at Trivandrum ('Ab' stands for Abhilash and 'trip' stands for Thripthy). He sold generators on behalf of Powerica to SUT Hospital, Pattom; English Indian Clays Ltd., Kochu Veli; Milma, Ambalathara; Hotel Residency Tower, Statue; Rubicon Mansions, Medical College Junction; Dhanya Remya Theatre, Kunnumpuram and he undertook a part of the Air Conditioning Plant installation work in Ramachandran Textiles also. He was very famous in the Business world.

Smt. N.Vasantha who is  Retired as Selection Grade Confidential Assistant, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram. After finishing her Secondary education from Kottayam, she passed Typewriting English & Malayalam Higher Grade and Short Hand English & Malayalam Lower Grade examinations. She also learned sewing and was self-employed at the age of 20. She was also taking home tuition for the primary school students in her locality. She is the eldest daughter in her family. Her two sisters are working in Government Secretariat, Trivandrum and Labour Department, Trichur. Her only brother is also well-settled and working in Civil Supplies, Govt. of Kerala, Trivandrum. I like her straight forward nature and modern thinking in taking decisions. She does not follow any superstitions or orthodox practices like others in our community. Her bold mind and strength to lead as the head of the family makes her an ideal Indian woman. She is the only God I have seen. I like her passion in shouting at me, every now & then.

My sweet sister Kum. Thripthy Hariharan who turns bitter when she is angry. She is a menacing figure to me as she quarrels always. One day she poured milk in to the cabinet of my computer in the midst of our routine quarrel. In others’ eyes she is a cute innocent little girl who only knows how to have food and sleep. If we are in good mood we are like honey and bee. She is learning Carnatic music and sings moderately well. She has passed 12th standard from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Karamana in Science group. She passed Hindi - Booshan second part examination of Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha. She is pursuing B.A English (Literature), 1st year at N.S.S College for women, Trivandrum.
