Myself >>>
I'm Sreehari Abhilash (or simply, Abhilash). My
neighbourhood friends call me Abhilash, my mom simply calls me 'Abhi' & my
sister adds 'Eda' before it. Usually my college mates call me 'Sreehari'
and sometimes 'Hari'. My name has several meanings. The first part of my
name 'Sreehari' is another name of the Hindu God Lord Vishnu. The second
word 'Abhilash' means 'Desire'. The 'Hari' is also a part of my father's
name. That’s all about my name. Next, about my birth. I was born and
brought up in a small Hindu Brahmin family in Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram.
I was born in G.G.Hospital, Murinjapalam, Thiruvananthapuram.
Thiruvananthapuram or Trivandrum is the capital city of Kerala State of
India.
Education
>>>
S.M.R.V is my first Kindergarten which is a small school in
our area. Now they have classes up to 4th standard. I did my early school
days and upper primary in Chinmaya Vidyalaya - Sastri Nagar & Vazhuthacaud.
The renowned Chinmaya Mission has 5 schools in
Trivandrum itself. This school taught me what is good, bad, manners, respect,
etc. My high school education was in
Govt.
Model
Higher
Secondary School, Thycaud,
Trivandrum. This is the school where many great cine artists, poets, doctors,
etc had studied. Padmashree Mohanlal, Manianpilla Raju, Jagathy Sreekumar
and his son, etc. The first rank holder in Engineering Mr.Krishna Ram also
studied in the same school. This cannot be considered as an ordinary
government school as the tuition, facilities stood at par with private
schools in the city. After my colourful school days, there comes the sweet
college days. I registered as a private candidate for pursuing Pre-Degree
& Bachelor of Commerce in
University
of
Kerala. I joined Tandem College of Professional & Management Studies,
Sasthamangalam, Trivandrum and spent 5 years there from 1999-2000 to
2003-04. Simultaneously with my Pre-Degree course, I did Diploma in
Computer Management, Certificate in Visual Basic programming and
Typewriting English Higher grade certifications.

Interests >>>
My interest lies in many fields. The first and primary
interest is surfing the net, emailing, chatting, etc. My other interests
are watching English movies, listening to Hindi and English music. I
usually rent VCDs/DVDs from the library to watch movies. As I am
interested in computers, I regularly read computer and IT magazines to
update my knowledge. I also like Carnatic music, but mostly the remix of
those old songs. I learned Carnatic music for 5 years from
Mrs.Vijayalakshmi. It is said that the Carnatic music energizes us up to
some extent, while remix versions are quite more refreshing. I also
undertake social works in our Residents' Association without charging any
thing.
