  • Before your child comes to the group we will visit you and find out all about your child's needs, including allergies, disabilities medical conditions, medications and behaviour. If necessary we will also consult your doctor.
  • The staff are experienced in caring for youngsters with special needs
  • We will contact you straight away if your child is ill during the group
  • Every term we will send you a report about how your child is doing. You are welcome to talk to us at any time if you have any questions or concerns
  • Young people have individual attention if they need it, and they can learn and develop at their own pace. Many parents are surprised how well their young people settle into this very supportive group.
  • Your young person will want to show you what they have done each week. You will be very proud of their achievements!

PARENTS AND CARERS AGREE TO:

  • Support group aims
  • Provide information the staff need
  • Encourage your child to learn new skills and move on when they are ready
  • Provide �1 per week for subs and small sums of money for the tuck shop
  • Agree to your child being photographed
  • Send any medication or equipment your child needs
  • Provide transport home (Juniors)
  • Provide transport to and from the group (Seniors)
