Spencer's Biography

I can't imagine why you'd be interested in any tidbits about my personal life, and to be honest I'm not really all that interested in telling you tidbits about my personal life. However, it goes a long way towards completing my site information page, and under obligation to the web site, I will comply, but there's no way I'm pouring my heart out on a baseball related site that no one even knows about. I can go to OpenDiary.com if I want to reveal private, shameful moments in my life that no one will ever read.
In short, at the time of this writing, I am a relatively uninteresting 20-year-old. I am in a serious relationship. Her name is baseball. (Read: I do not have a girlfriend because I am a loser, okay?) My careers have been illustrious thus far, ranging from babysitting elementary school children and trying to keep them from wiping their snotty noses on my clothing to both making and delivering pizzas for cheap, fat slobs who don't know how to cook. I graduated from high school in 2003 with an uninspiring 3.0ish GPA (on a fake scale that went up to 5.0), a mundane 24 on the ACT (which I took only once, and waited until my senior year to do it), and no scholarships to speak of. That is just as well, considering my first two attempted semesters at the internationally known Southwest Missouri State University (soon to be just MSU) were nothing short of disastrous. Currently I'm balancing a part-time job I have to wake up at nine AM for six times a week (only to leave four hours later) with dreaded night classes. My third attempt at college has been a bit more successful, but there's always that possibility I'll self-destruct again (one can only hope). I look to take tons of classes as quickly as I can to make up for lost time, and eventually I'd like to be a teacher.
My hobbies include knowing everything about baseball, playing baseball games with awesome graphics, playing baseball games with no graphics that are strictly stat-based simulations in which you run franchises, enjoying cartoons like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Sealab 2021 (I could not live without any of them), and playing every single game that is released in The Sims franchise religiously. I am a failed athlete, having played basketball for several years as a child without figuring out how to become seven feet tall to this day, although I still enjoy most any kind of casual sport endeavors, such as driveway basketball or tennis. I also like to run late at night when the rest of the world is asleep so I don't ever turn out to be like the fat slobs I have to deal with every day.
Now that you know me better, and no doubt like me less, go back to the part of the site that actually matters. Send any comments to: [email protected].
