The very first thing I look for in a man is intelligence. To me a mind is a beautiful thing, with it all things are possible. It fosters hope and growth. It is the source of wit and flirtation and humor. If a man has integrity then he is usually honest and honorable. Too many things go wrong when lies are told. If he is creative then everything is a joy. Life is full of pleasant and interesting surprises when creativity is used. With out passion in life there is no drive, no dynamics, no zeal or appreciation for anything. It is the ability to love to your greatest heights and succeed beyond all possible potential.
By the time I was fourteen the basic core of whom I was going to be was formed. Everything after has just been the refining of that initial design. There has always been a sort of wisdom that served my friends better than I, because I was able to be objective where they were concerned. That wisdom has been less beneficial to myself personally because my drives and passions tend to flow close to the surface. And though I have a logical rational mind, sometimes the emotions have had the opportunity to cloud it in a romantic fog. I think that what Alice said in THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS fits me well, "I give myself very good advice, but I very rarely follow it."
