About us button

The arm consists of three main areas, the biceps, triceps and forearms. The bicep is a two headed muscle. It has the long outer head and the short inner head. These two heads can be exercised by performing certain exercises that either isolate the muscle or work both heads at a time. The tricep has three heads, the long head, the medial head and the lateral head. Again, different exercises can work different heads but there are also exercises that work all three at a time. The muscles in the forearm are the third and final muscle group in the arm. This group consists of the forearm flexors, the forearm extensors and the supinators. There are some exercises for the forearm that can be incorporated into bicep exercises e.g. The hammer curl.
