****Olde Style is planning to head into the studio this March in hopes of completing their first full-length record. The group has chosen Uberstudios visionary Mark Schwarz (Enuff Z'Nuff, Wes Hollywood Show, Me Decade) to capture the Olde Style feel and sound. The disc will feature many old fan favorites, but the band wants everyone to know there will also be several new surprises! The group has recently gone into rehearsal retreat to cook up the perfect sound and hone the songwriters' craft. To promote the album, Olde Style will be gigging around Chicago with a preview of all the discs' hits in March, April, May and June. ****Bestcellar has put his solo album on the backburner for a couple of months, but wants fans to know that it is still simmering on medium-high heat. Many of the new songs featured at the Big Horse Lounge showcase will be featured on the disc, as well as some songs he is composing as we speak. The disc will be between 10-12 tracks and no longer than 40 minutes. Personnel are being decided right now. Hopefully Diane Warren and Carole King will both be available this time.
****Post Office is THRILLED to be playing the Chicago version of the International Pop Overthrow! They are slotted toward the back end of the festival, appearing at Nevin's Live on Monday April 8th. They are going on at 7:30pm and we expect to see all you Petite Sophisticates there! Bring the kids and mark those calenders NOW!
