Special Techniques: In some situations, Goth can access his sprite power and delve into darkness, when present. Though his body can handle the load (He thrives, actually), it’s yet to be certain if he can handle it cognitively- as darkness is corruptive. Signature moves include Gothic Blast (a standard charged blast of dark power), Gothic Force (Warping dark energy to force things away or create barriers) and Gothic Divinity (a light attack which bursts from the ground- much like a fissure)

Appearance: Dark black, velvety fur covers him to his wrists, ankles, chest, and ears. He boasts a long, well groomed tail. It’s almost as long as his body.

Personality: Goth’s a good guy when you get to know him. Of course his nature is to shun newcomers- He’s leery of most people and won’t even make eye contact until he’s sure of where they stand. This usually takes only a little while, though, as with raiders first impressions are usually quite profound. Goth’s name precedes him most times. With friends he’s more like a guard dog than a brooding poet. Goth is a simple man with simple needs, and he’s not afraid to speak his mind. Although he prefers to work alone, he’s willing to work together with others to pull off grandiose displays of power.

History: Hype’s bio would state that Goth began as a separate entity of Hype… However, the tale does not begin there. Goth began as a sprite, and existed long before being summoned by Hype. However, his past is tied with the background of the ancient Aegien kingdom. As the stories go, a nobleman named Naka turned against his people and destroyed said kingdom, but had been cursed in the process. Being cursed he became a demon and spent his days pillaging and doing wicked deeds, until he was captured and reprimanded by the gods. Little is known about how the tale turned out, but it’s assumed it has something to do with Goth, if only conjecture. After Goth split from Hype, he was a wild, rash creature. He lacked control, and once he had his mind on fighting, he’d brawl until someone was hurt or worse. Such things had happened, and upon risking the life of a loved one, Goth knew he needed to repent. In the Tolarian woods he proclaimed his longing to be cleansed of evil, and as such he was. Purged, even… However, the darkness that was flushed from his body took form and gathered, cursing Goth as it flew off. No more than a few weeks later, the villain Nakamaro appeared…This could be coincidence, but considering Nakamaro’s severe dislike for Goth, it only makes sense. Though, nothing is for certain. So what does Goth do now? As of recent, Goth went missing. His motives were unknown, but things have been rocky prior to his leave. It’s assumed he’d gone to do some soul searching… Perhaps to atone for his former misdeeds. But when if ever will he come back?

Notes: Goth has become more unstable in recent months, possibly due to Arisa’s mysterious absence and the plight Karasu inflicted on the Tolarian island. After the stress built up, he eventually took a leave of absence, and took off to an undisclosed location. It’s unknown what he’s up to.
