Appearance: Killane's fur is maroon-colored except for the white patch on his chest. His hair is kept short and there's a bullet scar just beneath his right collarbone.

Personality: Killane is intensely focused on his job as the Raiders' chief of security. He is practical and far-sighted though can be quite short-tempered and quick to spout a stream of curses that have been known to fry circuits and wilt plants.

History: Killane was born in the Bowery area of Metropolis, an area known for its ruthless violence and high crime rate. His mother died early on in his life and he was raised by his father, a boxer by the name of "K-O" Connor Sinclair Fox.

Despite the dangerous and oftentimes brutal environment, Killane was able to live a relatively normal childhood. At his father's insistence, he did well in school (but his quick temper made for numerous bloody noses and black eyes for both him and his classmates). His father always dreamed that Killane would one day escape the hell they lived in and was willing to do anything to help his son do it - even if it meant taking a job as an Enforcer of the local mob.

For a time Connor's arrangement with the mob worked out well for everyone but one day, not long after Killane turned twelve, Connor was pressured to throw a fight for his bosses. Unable to do so while his son watched, Connor won the match and found himself on the wrong side of the Enforcer's hit list. The following day he was beaten to death in broad daylight. Killane had been walking home from school and witnessed the beating but was powerless to stop it.

Killane managed to hold it together as he was shuffled into a foster home in better part of the city but became prone to more frequent fights in school. Not forgetting what his father sacrificed for him - and knowing who was responsible - Killane enrolled in the police academy as soon as he graduated from high school. He passed the test with flying colors and quickly proved to be a marksman of the highest quality. After spending two years on the force, Killane transferred back to the Bowery where he meteorically rose to homicide detective.

Over the next several years Killane dedicated himself to dismantling the mob ring that ran the Bowery with mixed results. Oftentimes he found himself treading dangerously close to early retirement but he pursued his goal with almost reckless vigor. He established a name for himself in his old neighborhood and set himself off as the mob boss' chief adversary - and a dangerous one at that. Killane was incorruptible, hot-tempered, knew the streets, and knew how to use a gun with deadly precision.

Despite his one-fox battle to bring down the mob Killane was able to find his soul mate in Leia McCall, another resident of the Bowery. She was a strong and capable woman and the only one able to match Killane's sharp tongue and capacity for alcohol. The two were made for each other and, after a year and a half of dating, they married. Killane was 27.

The following year proved to hold the greatest and worst moments of his life. His greatest moment came when he was able to nail the mob boss who had killed his father to the murder of a fellow officer. Killane half-bullied his way through the court system before he was able to set the boss up before a judge that was not on his payroll. The boss was sentenced to life without parole - and while Killane had secretly hoped for the death penalty, he was satisfied that he had finally taken his revenge on the man who had destroyed his family. And he had done it legally.

The worst moment of his life came a few months later when his wife was assassinated.

Killane had been walking with Leia down a street. They both had a day off and were spending it together. Leia's life was tragically cut short when she involuntarily stepped into the path of a sniper's (later revealed to be the mercenary known as Gareth Sinclair) bullet that had been aimed at Killane. She died in his arms as an ambulance raced to the scene.

Leia's death rocked Killane to the core. He knew that the mob boss he had worked so hard to take down was the one who had ordered the hit and dedicated himself to finding the hitman who had killed his wife - no matter the cost. He fell down a dark path of violence and drinking then, the only small comforts he could find in the world. Eventually he was considered too much of a risk for the force and was stripped of his badge.

Killane was now 29. His wife had been killed, he had lost his job, and was a violent alcoholic. At the end of his rope, Killane resolved to take his life - but the night he had chosen changed his life for the better. He had been loading his gun when riots erupted in the streets of the Bowery. As he rushed out to try and bring order, word reached him of an angel and demon bringing judgment to the living. It was the Apocalypse.

In the chaos that followed the plagues, famines and wars that erupted across Tolaria and Mobius, Killane found himself once more working to bring law to the Bowery. He was able to hold himself together long enough to wait out the Apocalypse and, when it had passed, found a position waiting for him on the police force.

Killane declined the position, believing that he could be of better use elsewhere. He then applied to the Raiders and was readily accepted due to his background as a police officer in the Bowery. Once with the Raiders, he was quickly placed in charge of security, a role he found intially unsettling due to his command over the Raiders security personnel but one he eventually grew into. He solidified his station during the Void War and cemented his place as one of the Raiders commanders during the Exodus in which he led the Raiders in Hardrive's absence.

It was his decision during the Exodus to annihilate Mecha, a roboticized country with plans to mechanize all of Mobius. It was a decision many have questioned but Killane has shed little light as to why he was able to make such a quick judgment.

Since the Exodus was completed, Killane focused himself on protecting the Raiders base as best he could, a desire that often made him bump heads with the naive Raiders commander Hardrive. His efforts were undermined by Karasu, who posed a security threat Killane could not readily handle. The point eventually became moot when the HQ was destroyed.

After recovering from the injuries sustained in the HQ's destruction, Killane was quickly noticed as being more moody and grim than he had ever been before. While not so disruptive in public, he chewed out Hardrive in private often enough for Hardrive to remove all restrictions on the fox - Killane now had the authority to do whatever he wanted to maintain Raiders security. Killane has taken this authority quite seriously as he has vowed to never let anyone close to him die because of him - whether by his inaction or his inability to act.

Killane spends most of his time upgrading Raiders security and running the group while Hardrive is away. He's recently led the Raiders against the villain Wevli but was captured alongside other Raiders by the mercenary group called the Reavers, only to be liberated two weeks later. In his final moments dealing with the Reavers, he viciously beat Gareth Sinclair into submission before firing into the mercenary's hands - an act meant to end the career of a creature who made his livelihood through his marksmanship.

Notes: Killane is an expert marksman and rarely misses his target. His blistering tongue is capable of, on occasion, stunning others into dazed confusion. He never found his wife's killer but has never stopped searching.

Worth noting is that he memorized the names of all the Raiders personnel who died during his stay with the Raiders.
