Today is June 26th, 2002. On June 24th, I went skydiving for the first time in Deland, FL. I did a tandem jump from 13,500ft. The freefall last 50 seconds, the whole thing about 5 or 7 mins, or something like that. It's kinda hard to tell since it was the most intense rush I have ever had in my life.
The first five seconds were just absolute pure adrenaline, it is pretty much indescribable. Even now, two days later, I get chills just thinking about it. Well on the 25th, I did it AGAIN! OMG! I think I am crazy, either that or just plain looney, one of the two. This time I went with a friend, Jeff, and we both did a tandem. It wasn't as terrifying, or as intense as the first time, but still hugely exhilerating.
I have a video of my jump, and it gives people vertigo when I go out of that plane. I also have some great still pics, which I will upload to this site soon, tonite the scanner ain't working. *kicks scanner*
I'll get em up here soon, they came out great.

Okay, latest news first then oldest news last. I think anyway. No, that isn't new news, or is it? Ummm I'm confused now so I will just start over.
Just made a big ol move in May. Moved from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Orlando, Florida.
The move was half adventurous, half insane, and half out of necessity. Got layed off from my job at
MCI Worldcom in March, and the consulting company I was working for (COMSYS INC-CURSE THEM and MCI) had their address filed incorrectly with the Unemployment office. Soooooo, as a result my unemp checks were delayed 5 weeks and I had to move out of my apartment or be evicted. So, to make a long story somewhat less long, I turned my nose east and headed to Florida, leaving Colorado and all the snow and ice behind forever-HURRAAYYYYYYY.
A bit about me, I am a 33 year old white male living in Apopka, Florida. I am 6'3 and weigh 210 lbs. I have brown hair, and brown eyes. My eyes have been described in two ways...
either they are the perfect puppy dog eyes, or the perfect big dumb cow eyes. New addition on Nov 24: a third description of my eyes: Deer in the headlight eyes. Aug 08: Right now I just use my eyes to see.
I like to travel as much as possible, and many of the pictures on this site are from my 2000 trip to South Africa on vacation.
I only get so much space on this site, so I will probably have to rotate these pictures some time. I think that people will especially like the pictures of the bushmen rockart. The bushmen paintings are scanned at a higher resolution that most of the pictires on this site and so take longer to download. They are worth the wait, or at least the best ones are.
