The FIDE and the biggist russian newspaper Argumenty i Fakty together planning new chess solving competition. Prize fund 10 000 USD, the final at 9th May 2002. We bring more infomation, if will be competition prepared. (Added 22-I-02)

8 solvers from 3500 have sure participation in the final V. Semenenko (UKR), V. Dyachuk (UKR), O. Pervakov (RUS), B. Gusev (RUS), D. Pletnev (RUS), R. Larin (RUS), V. Nefedov (RUS), V. Kozhakin (RUS) and more solvers which choice organizators.
The final start on Saturday 19 January 2002 in Moscow. Prize fund 10 000 USD waiting for winners.
