The Fine Art of Restoration
There really are not a lot of sources of repro parts for old snowmobiles as yet as the craft of restoring them is in its infancy. As time goes byI expect to see more and more companies appearing to take advantage of the demand. The first thing that I expect to see is an increase in the number of companies offering decal kits for older sleds. Of all the things that are needed for a first class concourse type resto, the decals are hardest to come by. Sure you can still find new kits once in a while, but get ready to sign over your first born .

Right now the best sources are swap meets and word of mouth. One good thing to develop lately for any endevor is the web. You sitting there reading this is proof.

Keep an eye on this section as it will fill out in the near future. -sr

This 1970 T'NT 640 belongs to the author. I just picked her up over the Thanksgiving '99 weekend and haven't gotten started on her yet.I have been concentrating on my snow dance and polishing the new MX Z.

She is in need of a complete re-build but runs like a top. Once you get her running that is. Damn HD carb.
