| 8 DAYS KILIMANJARO MACHAME Day 1: Leave Nairobi in the morning and drive to Arusha via Namanga Border. Arrive in the Arusha town in the afternoon for overnight in a hotel. Day 2 : Morning transfer to Machame gate and hike through the forest to Machame hut for overnight in a tent .3000m. Day 3 : After breakfast hike through the moorland viewing high attitude Vegetation to Shira hut for an overnight in a tent.3850m. Day 4 : After breakfast hike to towards Lava tower before you trek down to Brancco hut 3940m.for dinner and overnight Day 5 : After breakfast you proceed further over steep rocky barancco walls to Karanga valley then to Barafu hut for dinner and Overnight.4600m. Day 6 : Early morning tea and, you start the climb to Uhuru peak 5896m and after a Success ascend to the top, descend via Barafu hut to Mweka hut for dinner and overnight . Day 7 : Descend leisurely to Mweka gate to connect your transfer vehicle to Arusha for dinner and over night in a hotel. Day 8 After breakfast, connect the shuttle bus to Nairobi arriving late evening. |
| 7 DAYS KILIMANJARO MARANGU ROUTE Day 1: Leave Nairobi via Namanga border to Arusha to arrive in the afternoon. Afternoon relax in a hotel and prepare your equipments for the climb. Dinner and overnight in a hotel. Day 2 : After breakfast, transfer to Marangu gate where you start the hike to Mandara hut 2744m. 3-4hrs. Day 3 : After breakfast, hike through the moorland to Horombo hut 3740m. Picnic lunch served enroute. Dinner and overnight in a camp. Day 4 : Hike from Horombo in the morning with a good view of the snow capped top of Kilimanjaro to Kibo hut4750m. for dinner and overnight . Day 5 : After midnight tea and start the last ascent to the summit via Gillman point 5685m to arrive Uhuru peak 5896m. After sunrise view from the summit while taking photos, descend to Horombo hut for overnight. Day 6 : After breakfast, descend down to marangu gate and connect your transfer to Arusha for a relaxed night in a hotel. Day 7 : In the morning connect a shuttle bus back to Nairobi. |
