That's me and my mommy in my hospital room at Duke University Medical Center, where I spent
over 100 days, since I was diagnosed with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID). That was back in October, 1998.
I want to tell you about my mommy. She is the most special person in the whole world. I think I take her for granted sometimes,
like after my Daddy has been here for a visit, He's all I talk about. Daddy doesn't get to visit a whole lot 'cause he has to stay home and work.
I really miss him and my sister Aubrey, but I sure hope Mommy knows how much I love and appreciate her. She has been here with me through this
whole ordeal, and I just think she's the BEST.
I also want to say a big THANK YOU to all the folks who have been praying for me and my family. I have really had a lot of people in my corner.
People like friends and family in the Birmingham, AL area and friends in the Mobile (Daphne), AL area, and especially the members of
First United Methodist Church in Hueytown, AL and Spanish Fort United Methodist Church in Spanish Fort, AL.
Uncle Scott finally got some new pictures to put on my Web Site. Check them out! He still promises to add pictures from my 1st Birthday Party.
