| Summer of 2003 -- A monster is unleashed... |
| In the summer of 2003, there is going to be a new monster on the roads...a car that looks at zero to sixty in under 3.5 seconds...under 3 seconds with a boost of Nitros Oxide...a top speed within range of Ferrari's, Lamborghini's and other exotics...capable of handling G's that would make a Le Mans driver envious...weighing a total of only 2500 pounds...this carbon/kevlar bodied, titanium/aluminum rimmed, aluminum powered supercar will wear the only thing that it was born with...a BMW roundel. This car is a tribute to the fine engineering, exclusive power, and unrivaled prowess that has made BMW what it is. This humble 1986 BMW 325 will soon embody its racing heritage by having its engine bay graced with the likes of the BMW 5.0 litre V-12. This engine, stock in the 850ci, robustly kicks out 328 bhp, and 361 feet pounds of torque. After being balanced, blueprinted, ported and matched, the power is upped by 15%. The impressive results are 377.2 bhp, and 415.6 feet pounds of torque. Power will further be increased by performance ECU's which respectively aid in higher horsepower numbers, twin racing air filters, headers and performance exhaust. Although the list of improvements is small, let this be a salute to the exotic V-12 that will produce 457 bhp and 470 feet pounds of torque. For racing applications and sheer excitement, I will add a NOS Brand nitros oxide system to this magnificent engine, with a boost of around 200 horsepower, delivered in two 100 horsepower shots. Under wide open throttle, with a full shot of NOS, the numbers are around 700 bhp...who's going to keep up? Obvious changes must be made such as a larger fuel tank, racing high rate fuel pump etc, but along with these changes I will take everything to the next level. All hoses will be stainless steel braided with teflon secured by aircraft aluminum fittings and clamps, brake lines that can withstand 4000psi, fuel lines also braided stainless, carbon fiber brake pads, an oversized radiator and oil cooler...nothing will be overlooked. This car will be able to withstand extreme driving on the track with the only preparations being a full tank of gas, as well as dosile day to day commuting letting every driver that it passes know what BMW means...extreme handling, relentless power, seductive luxury, the ultimate driving machine. |
