Hi my name is Andy pratt I live in nothern california in a small town you have never heard of. I like the smow very much. But I like to make snow even more it is amazing how compressed air and water can make it. anyways this site hopfully will help you to understand a little about snowmaking and how to make snow in your back yard. |

A thing I have learned in the past few years of making snow is that if you have a larger aircompressor and you have excess air drill more 1/16 th inch holes instead of just drilling a larger one it seems to work much better that a larger hole. I have one cap with 1 hole 2 holes 3 holes 4 holes and 5 holes each hole makes about 6 inches in 12 hours if it isnt windy and you leave your gun in the same spot. Experiment it is the best way to learn. It is the 23 of january and my snowpack is up to 2 feet but I only have one more good night of snowmaking befor the BIG STORM as much as a couple of feet is expected in our area.. HELL YA |

It is no the 18th of March and I an unable to make snow becuase of the wear and tear on our compressor so i have turned my attension to icicle making. Sound dumb but it is the closest thing to makeing snow I could think of, and when it gets like 6 feet long you get excited. If you are interested go to my icicle makeing section of my web page. Well it is now the 26th of october and not as cold as it was last year at this time so I havent been able to make snow. But I hope to make snow soon, I have had people email me with questions and problems that they have, and that is great I am happy to help, So send me a message if you have questions or comments.
