Nonpoint! I LOVE this band. Hehe. They played with Linkin Park and (Hed)pe. I just went to see Nonpoint so I got out of the front when they finished playing. Elias Sorriano is the lead singer. I was right in front of him and he saw me singing all the words. There weren't very many people there who knew about them but I could tell that when they finished their set, everyone was impressed. The CDs of theirs that they were selling sold out before Linkin park even hit the stage. I got to meet Elias and Andy (the guitarist) after they played. They were selling their own merchandise which I just think was awesome! Anyway, Elias gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek and told me that he saw me singing the words to the songs. So that made me feel good. He also took a picture with me which was really sweet of him. I talked to Andy for a long while and got a picture with him as well. He said they had to leave before the show ended cause they have a gig in Florida tonight, their hometown so they couldn't hang out afterwards which was bad news for Melina in the pit who INSISTED on staying up there until the end of the show...well she did until the barrier broke. Yes if u can remember me saying that the barrier broke at the last Deftones show I went to, it happened again at the show last night! What are the chances of that happening to the same people? I wasn't up front when it happened but my friend Melina was so she got out right after that happened. Anyway, Andy said that after their gig today in Florida, they have 3 days off and then they're going to the west coast to tour with Machine Head.
Orgy and Crazy Town were playing in Atlanta the next night and guess who just happened to be at the show? Yep, Orgy and Crazy Town. Everyone from Orgy was their except Jay. I'm not a huge fan of Orgy and so I didn't freak out when Paige and Amir walked by me. But there were these two girls that I saw at the Deftones show last week who were huge Orgy fans and so they were so excited to meet them. The lead singer of Crazy Town was walking around the crowd with another band member who had on a crazy town shirt and NO ONE noticed. I think that's pretty cool cause I�m sure some of those same people will be at the Orgy show tonight and will be shocked when they see that the guy up on stage was standing next to them during Linkin Park.
Linkin Park's set was pretty good. SO many people knew all the words to their songs which surprised me. I think it surprised them as well. They probably didn't know they had so many fans. Although the show was sold out because of them, I�m guessing, since they're all over MTV and M2 and ALWAYS on the radio. They kept saying how awesome Atlanta was to them. After they played the guitarist, the DJ, and one of the two singers, Mike, went out into the crowd and signed stuff for people. They're all really nice guys. We didn�t' stay for all of Hed(pe) but what I heard of their set was pretty good. But anyway that's all I have to say. |
