Melina thought she had to do a coat check downstairs so we went downstairs, and Mark was behind us. He said, �oh are you guys leaving?� and we told him no. While we were walking down the stairs I asked him which member of the band was into the cure (cause they cover fascination street) he said that Jason, the dreaded guitar player, was. Anyway Mark was trying to get away from the noise to call his girlfriend, �because she misses me and I miss her too.� He was drunk as hell and he said that she would yell at him for drinking. Her line was busy though and I said, �oh oh� and he gave me a sly, wry grin which was kinda cute. When we went back to see Boiler Room, we saw members of Chimaira walking all over the place. But Melina being as difficult as she is didn�t want to go talk to anyone but Mark, cause she�s so shy. I saw Robb (Nonpoint) at the merch table and so I ran over to him and gave him my shit to sign. When he saw struggle he was like, �holy shit! I can�t believe you have this.� Then he turned around to show Jules, the merchandise lady. I felt cool. I told him that we had been at the show the previous night and reminded him that he had given his sticks to us. He looked at me and said, �Oh the one with the red shirt right?� That was indeed me. I had on my red Split shirt. He was impressed that we drove there. I was happy. I was really excited about seeing Nonpoint of course. They fucking rocked the house of course. Jonny came out and did Endure with Elias. And when he left, he gave Elias as hot of Jack Daniel�s again. And Andy sang most of Double Stakked like he did the previous night. I could see the guys in Chimaira off to the side watching and they were really getting into it. After Nonpoint�s set, I ran over to the railing and got KB�s attention. I gave him my shit to sign. When he saw that I had struggle, he was like, �Damn, Struggle, I don�t even have this, as a matter of fact...� then he started to run away with it. But then he came back and smiled. I was like, �that�s what Robb said.� Made me feel good again. Elias came out a little bit after. Damn he was so cute! So I got him to sign my stuff. Didn�t say anything to him at the time cause I was like, Fuck that�s Elias. I mean I had met him before, but face to face, I get scared cause he�s so hot. So I got him to sign my stuff and then I went away. Then I saw Andy. He totally remembered me from the Hed(pe) show which made me feel really good, cause I had talked to him for a good 10 minutes or so. He didn�t remember my name though, but I wasn�t expecting him too. He signed my shit as well. Then Mark walked by us again and I grabbed him for a picture. While they were setting up for Spineshank. Elias went out to the merch table. I was hesitant to go up to him and ask for a picture cause there were all of these people around him. But when Spineshank started playing everyone left, so I went up to him. I was like, �hey Elias� and he said, �Hey sweetheart, what can I do for you?� Ugh, if only his fine ass knew! I asked for a picture and he said, �Of course!� I love him. So he came around from the merch table and like grabbed me so that our faces were touching. It felt so good. And Jules took the picture for us. Then I pointed to Melina and said to Elias, �she wants one too.� So he took a picture with her as well. I love Elias! Spineshank went on to play a good set. Elias crowd surfed his way up to the stage when Johnny was trying to thank all the bands. He must have been drunk too. Anyway after the show ended, I wanted to get some more pics with the dudes from Chimaira, but Melina was getting tired. Jim walked by us, so I called him over. We were talking to him for a bit and we told him that Chimaira were gonna get huge. He said, �Do you really think so?� and we just kinda laughed. I think that worried him, and he asked why we were laughing. I told him that to us Chimaira is the band that you like so much, that you don�t want anyone else to know about them. That�s DEFINITELY how Melina feels about them. She won�t even let me tell others about them. But I do anyway. We got pictures with Jim then he had to leave cause Chimaira was gonna go drink on Spineshank�s bus. He told us that he wouldn�t remember our names, but he asked what they were anyway. At least he was honest. That was it really. Good show. |
