*fast link- Jimmy @ the Roxy pics*

Well, I am now part of the group of Jimmy Fallon fans who have been blessed with the opportunity to see Jimmy in person. This is my story...
I found out July 29th, after reading the Jimmy Fallon Utopia that Jimmy was actually gonna be in California! Now, I know that he was in L.A last year for the MTV MMA's, but that was filmed on my last day of school, and there was no way I could get down to L.A. (I live about 299 miles for L.A.) So when I found he was gonna be in West Hollywood, I went to ticketmaster.com but they were already sold out. So the next day I called Ticket Master and he said they, may have some extra ones go on sale, but he wasn't sure. I even called down to the Roxy and she said they were sold, but may have some the night of the performance...but it was a chance that I would have to take. I was mad- mad that Jimmy was so close, yet there was still a chance I may not be able to see him. So after pleading on-line, Erin e-mailed me and told me I should try e-bay. And they had tickets! Some prices were outrageous, but there were a few low prices, so I went with MCTickets. Altogether it came out to cost about $70 bucks for two tickets...a small price for a dream come true!
So finally August 7th came! It seemed as though it took forever. Me and my best friend Jeremy left Visalia at about 1pm. We stopped in Bakersfield for about 30 minutes to check out his college and went on. We finally go to Hollywood at about 6:15pm. For a Wednesday night, Sunset Blvd. had so much traffic. You see some freaky stuff too. So when we finally got all the way down to the Roxy, there was already a long line. By the time we got our valet parking (we were number 699) and got to the end of the line, the doors were already opened. I thought since we got there late we were gonna be in the back and not gonna be able to see anything. When we got in there, there were already a lot of people, but I walked up to the front, there were some empty seats in the second row, to the right of the stage. So by the time we got settled in and all, it was about 7:15pm, and the show was suppose to start at 7:30. Then we heard some people say that it wouldn't start till 8:00pm. Sitting there I just kept thinking to myself, "I can't believe that this is happening! For so long I have watched him on TV, and he seemed so un-real and now I am actually gonna see him- he's gonna be right there...but calm down, he's just an regular person...like anyone!" And then the house lights went down...and the announcer said, "Ladies and Gentleman...Saturday Night Live's- Jimmy Fallon!" And out he came...
He was wearing a maroon color t-shirt and light blue cord- like pants. He had short hair too...I liked it. Ah- when he walked out on stage my stomach literally did flips! He started off singing Idiot Boyfriend...I'm not sure if it had been floating around on-line somewhere but that was the first time I hear it. I loved it...so true...so funny! He sang his troll songs...it was longer then the one I downloaded off the Internet but still great. When he sat the troll down on the stoll it was kinda like, "AH- that's the one I've seen in everyone's pics!" He did some stand up; impressions of Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, John Travolta, the mail man from Cheers, and Chris Rock. He did his 80's medley and talked about driving in L.A. and college. Then he took a short break and when he came back on he had his little band behind him. He started off singing "This land was made for you and me" I'm thinking that's the name off it, shame on me for not being as patriotic as I should be....but so that was funny. Then he sang some songs from his album....and it was over...I wanted so badly to stay after wards and see him, but I had to leave. I later heard the Kirsten Dunst was there (I thought I saw her, but was more worried about Jimmy) and a few other celebs were there...kinda' cool.
Well that was my story, when I have time I will detail it more. If you have any questions or if you were at the show e-mail me, I'd love to talk to you. You can view pics I took under pics or go to jimmyfallon[dot]net go to pics then live pics.
