C&C renegade is the first attempt by E.A games and Westwood Studios to adapt the classic C&C games into a first person shoot'em up. E.A attempted to windern its market to attract fans from C&C, and other first person shooter games such as Unreal Tornament, Red Faction, Battlefeld 1942, Medal of Honor allied assult etc..
You might remember from some of the older Command and Conquer games some of the buildings such as the Advanced guard tower, oblisk and weapons factory all these are used in Renegade you are also able to enter them. Each buiding has there own special functions and which with out will leave your team at a disadvantage here are some pictures of the dfferent building that are available in the multiplayer followed by a brief description of there use. |

advanced guard tower and obelisk: These are the base defences that are present in the game (Advanced guard tower for G.D.I, and the obelisk for Nod) for the base defenses to work a power plant must be pesent, and therefore if the power plant is blown up by your enemy the base defence wont work.
The Advanced guard towers defence is four machine guns, and rockets which will kill a person instantly. It is very hard to get past the AGT unless you use a APC (armoured personel carrier) click here to for the other viercle..
The Obelisk uses a very powerful laser beam which will kill most men in one shot (besides the 1000 pound special charicters click here for more info) this is by easiest defence to get past as long as you have a quick route that wont expose you for that long. |

GDI and Nod power plant: The power plant is a very important structure in the base, without it the base defence will not work and the price of everything is doubled. The G.D.I and Nod power plant are identicle inside and out besides the colour scheme, the Nod power plant (featured in the picture) is red in colour and the G.D.I power plant is yellow. |

Tiberium refinery: The refinery is the main income of money, every second 1 credit is added to your account and a additional 300 whenever your Tiberium harvester manages to make it back to your base. Without this you do not recieve any income besides through attacking the enemy. This is also identicle between the two teams besides the colour. |
