These are some boring rules that you should follow in the channel :
(The channel operators' script settings may vary, but the rules here should be a guidance to theirs.)

1.No flooding, this includes :
 
-Repeat flood (a maximum of 3 times may be tolerated by chan-ops)

Please note that the use of color is acceptable, but when you change it too much, it becomes unacceptable.

2.No offensive language
I don't think I need to point out which words are banned, I am sure you can list out more than
me. hehehe

3.No insults on other users, religion related, politics or any other kind of things which a chan-ops
think it is not allowed. Akick can be put on your whole host if necessary.

4.Same host (including clones) are permitted, with certain conditions  :
when a real clones becomes abusive, the chan-ops will be forced to ban them.

If these users become abusive and irritating to the channel, and these are real clones,
meaning a computer runs more than one IRC client(s) in their computer
(which is not allowed in DALnet, they can be K:lined), chan-ops will be forced to ban them all.

There is a different in networked client, they are using different computers, yet they are networked together (usually in a school, university, office, etc.), therefore they use the same IP address (some networks use different IP address is possible). In a case of a user becomes abusive, chan-ops will be forced to ban
*!*userid@*.domain.country or *!*[email protected].*
When the user change their userid and keeps on abusing the channel or there is a lot of them became abusive, we will have to ban them all.

Bina Nusantara Campus, Jakarta, Indonesia (202.155.5.132)
Telkom, Indonesia (202.134.0.5)
Indosat, Indonesia (202.155.16.72)
Universitas Petra, Surabaya, Indonesia (matt.petra.ac.id)
Taylors College, Melbourne, Australia (203.28.158.6)
If there is others, just inform me in IRC and I'll be glad to add them all.

when a telnet address becomes abusive, the chan-ops will be forced to ban them.

The same networked clients condition applies to these telnet address.

5.Spams (advertising) are allowed, with certain conditions :

-Irritating spams are not allowed

Spamming to a banned channel are not allowed (figure it out yourself which channel is banned)

-Excessive spams are not allowed

When you spam (advertising), just be aware you can be kicked and banned! It depends on the chan-ops.

 
6.Abuse towards operator(s) or bot(s) in any form will not be tolerated
This includes nuking, ICMP flooding, invinsible ping flooding, port flooding, etc. (Anything with the word flooding is banned)
 

The channel operators are allowed to kick and ban a user when they think it is appropriate. If you are being kicked or banned, please talk to the operator that kicked you. Do not talk to others since they won't know what was the problem. By the way, channel operators DO make mistake. Nobody is perfect !
